2. Hvilke opplysninger samler vi inn?

Du trenger ikke en konto for å bruke appen. Appen samler ikke inn navnet ditt eller e-postadressen din.

Appen oppretter en enhets-ID som sendes til oss sammen med spillstatistikk. Statistikken omfatter forsøk på å løse oppgaver, bruk av hint, hvilke sanger du åpner via appen og tidspunkter for spillhendelser.

Enhets-ID-en gjør det mulig å knytte sammen spillhendelser fra samme enhet. Selv om vi ikke kjenner navnet ditt, behandler vi opplysningene som personopplysninger så lenge de er knyttet til enhets-ID-en.

Spillkoden kontrolleres i appen og sendes ikke til oss. Vi bruker ikke IP-adressen din til spillstatistikk og lagrer den ikke i databasen vår.

3. Hvorfor behandler vi opplysningene?

Vi bruker spillstatistikken for å forstå hvordan spillene våre brukes, vurdere vanskelighetsgraden på oppgavene og forbedre spillopplevelsen. Koblingen til enhets-ID-en gjør det mulig å følge spillhendelser over tid og beregne for eksempel antall unike enheter som spiller, og andelen som klarer et spill.

Det rettslige grunnlaget er vår berettigede interesse i å evaluere og forbedre spillene våre, i henhold til artikkel 6.1 f i personvernforordningen (GDPR).

Vi bruker ikke opplysningene til reklame, sporing mellom ulike apper eller nettsteder, eller automatiserte beslutninger med rettslige eller tilsvarende vesentlige følger for deg.

4. Hvor lenge lagres opplysningene?

Vi lagrer hver spillhendelse knyttet til enhets-ID-en i maksimalt 24 måneder fra tidspunktet hendelsen ble registrert. Deretter fjerner vi enhetskoblingen og anonymiserer statistikken slik at den ikke lenger kan knyttes til deg eller enheten din.

Anonymisering innebærer at også gjenværende opplysninger bearbeides eller sammenstilles når det er nødvendig for å forhindre identifisering. Hvis opplysninger ikke kan anonymiseres tilstrekkelig, slettes de.

Anonym statistikk om for eksempel forsøk, hint og åpnede sanger kan beholdes for langsiktig evaluering og utvikling av spillene.

5. Hvem kan få tilgang til opplysningene?

Spillstatistikken er tilgjengelig for autoriserte personer som arbeider med administrasjon og utvikling av Music Mystery. Appen har ingen reklame og bruker ingen analysetjenester fra tredjeparter.

6. Spotify

Når du åpner en sang, forlater du Music Mystery-appen og går videre til Spotify. Spotifys behandling av personopplysninger i sin tjeneste reguleres av Spotifys egen personvernerklæring. Vi registrerer hvilken sang som åpnes via appen vår; det betyr ikke at vi registrerer hva du deretter lytter til i Spotify.

7. Dine rettigheter

Du kan kontakte oss for å be om tilgang til personopplysninger om deg, retting, sletting eller begrensning av behandlingen, i den grad rettighetene gjelder.

Du har også rett til å motsette deg behandling som er basert på vår berettigede interesse. Da vil vi stanse behandlingen med mindre vi kan påvise tvingende berettigede grunner som veier tyngre enn dine interesser og rettigheter, eller hvis opplysningene er nødvendige for rettslige krav.

Ettersom vi ikke har navnet ditt eller en kontoprofil, kan vi trenge informasjon som gjør det mulig å finne opplysningene knyttet til enheten din og sikre at forespørselen gjelder deg. Vi ber kun om den informasjonen som er nødvendig. Opplysninger som allerede er anonymisert, kan ikke lenger knyttes til deg.

8. Nettsted og informasjonskapsler

Denne erklæringen gjelder Music Mystery-appen. Informasjon om eventuelle informasjonskapsler på Music Mysterys nettsted finnes i nettstedets separate policy for informasjonskapsler. Appen har ingen reklame, ingen sporing og ingen analysetjenester fra tredjeparter.

9. Endringer og kontakt

Vi oppdaterer denne erklæringen når appens behandling av personopplysninger endres. Datoen øverst viser når erklæringen sist ble oppdatert.

Privacy Policy for the Music Mystery App

1. Who is responsible for your personal data?

2. What data do we collect?

You do not need an account to use the app. The app does not collect your name or email address.

The app generates a device ID that is sent to us together with gameplay statistics. These statistics include attempts to solve tasks, use of hints, which songs you open through the app, and the times of gameplay events.

The device ID allows us to link gameplay events from the same device. Although we do not know your name, we treat this information as personal data for as long as it is linked to the device ID.

The game code is checked within the app and is not sent to us. We do not use your IP address for gameplay statistics or store it in our database.

3. Why do we process the data?

We use gameplay statistics to understand how our games are used, assess the difficulty of the puzzles, and improve the gameplay experience. Linking the data to the device ID allows us to follow gameplay events over time and calculate, for example, the number of unique devices used to play and the proportion that complete a game.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in evaluating and improving our games, under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We do not use the data for advertising, tracking across different apps or websites, or automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. How long do we retain the data?

We retain each gameplay event linked to the device ID for a maximum of 24 months from the time the event was recorded. After that, we remove the link to the device and anonymise the statistics so that they can no longer be linked to you or your device.

Anonymisation also involves processing or aggregating any remaining data where necessary to prevent identification. If data cannot be sufficiently anonymised, it is deleted.

Anonymous statistics on, for example, attempts, hints, and songs opened may be retained for the long-term evaluation and development of the games.

5. Who can access the data?

Gameplay statistics are accessible to authorised people working on the administration and development of Music Mystery. The app contains no advertising and uses no third-party analytics services.

6. Spotify

When you open a song, you leave the Music Mystery app and continue to Spotify. Spotify’s processing of personal data within its service is governed by Spotify’s own privacy policy. We record which song is opened through our app; this does not mean that we record what you subsequently listen to on Spotify.

7. Your rights

You can contact us to request access to personal data concerning you, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, to the extent that these rights apply.

You also have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. We will then stop processing the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests and rights, or the data is needed for legal claims.

As we do not have your name or an account profile, we may need information that allows us to locate the data linked to your device and verify that the request concerns you. We only request the information that is necessary. Data that has already been anonymised can no longer be linked to you.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.

8. Website and cookies

This policy applies to the Music Mystery app. Information about any cookies on the Music Mystery website can be found in the website’s separate cookie policy. The app contains no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party analytics services.
