2. Vilka uppgifter samlar vi in?

Du behöver inget konto för att använda appen. Appen samlar inte in ditt namn eller din e-postadress.

Appen skapar ett enhets-ID som skickas till oss tillsammans med spelstatistik. Statistiken omfattar försök att lösa uppgifter, användning av ledtrådar, vilka låtar du öppnar via appen och tidpunkter för spelhändelser.

Enhets-ID:t gör det möjligt att koppla samman spelhändelser från samma enhet. Även om vi inte känner till ditt namn behandlar vi uppgifterna som personuppgifter så länge de är kopplade till enhets-ID:t.

Spelkoden kontrolleras i appen och skickas inte till oss. Vi använder inte din IP-adress för spelstatistik och sparar den inte i vår databas.

3. Varför behandlar vi uppgifterna?

Vi använder spelstatistiken för att förstå hur våra spel används, utvärdera pusslens svårighetsgrad och förbättra spelupplevelsen. Kopplingen till enhets-ID:t gör det möjligt att följa spelhändelser över tid och beräkna exempelvis antalet unika spelande enheter och andelen som klarar ett spel.

Den rättsliga grunden är vårt berättigade intresse av att utvärdera och förbättra våra spel, enligt artikel 6.1 f i dataskyddsförordningen (GDPR).

Vi använder inte uppgifterna för reklam, spårning mellan olika appar eller webbplatser eller automatiserade beslut med rättsliga eller motsvarande betydande följder för dig.

4. Hur länge sparas uppgifterna?

Vi sparar varje spelhändelse kopplad till enhets-ID:t i högst 24 månader från den tidpunkt då händelsen registrerades. Därefter tar vi bort enhetskopplingen och anonymiserar statistiken så att den inte längre kan kopplas till dig eller din enhet.

Anonymisering innebär att även kvarvarande uppgifter bearbetas eller sammanställs när det behövs för att förhindra identifiering. Om uppgifter inte kan anonymiseras tillräckligt raderas de.

Anonym statistik om exempelvis försök, ledtrådar och öppnade låtar kan bevaras för långsiktig utvärdering och utveckling av spelen.

5. Vem kan ta del av uppgifterna?

Spelstatistiken är tillgänglig för behöriga personer som arbetar med administration och utveckling av Music Mystery. Appen har ingen reklam och använder inga analystjänster från tredje part.

6. Spotify

När du öppnar en låt lämnar du Music Mystery-appen och går vidare till Spotify. Spotifys behandling av personuppgifter i sin tjänst regleras av Spotifys egen integritetspolicy. Vi registrerar vilken låt som öppnas via vår app; det betyder inte att vi registrerar vad du därefter lyssnar på i Spotify.

7. Dina rättigheter

Du kan kontakta oss för att begära tillgång till personuppgifter som rör dig, rättelse, radering eller begränsning av behandlingen, i den utsträckning rättigheterna gäller.

Du har också rätt att invända mot behandling som grundas på vårt berättigade intresse. Då upphör vi med behandlingen om vi inte kan visa tvingande berättigade skäl som väger tyngre än dina intressen och rättigheter, eller om uppgifterna behövs för rättsliga anspråk.

Eftersom vi inte har ditt namn eller någon kontoprofil kan vi behöva information som gör det möjligt att hitta uppgifterna kopplade till din enhet och säkerställa att begäran gäller dig. Vi begär endast den information som behövs. Uppgifter som redan har anonymiserats kan inte längre kopplas till dig.

Du har rätt att lämna klagomål till Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), www.imy.se.

8. Webbplats och kakor

Denna policy gäller Music Mystery-appen. Information om eventuella kakor på Music Mysterys webbplats finna i webbplatsens separata cookiepolicy. Appen har ingen reklam, ingen spårning och inga analystjänster från tredje part.

9. Ändringar och kontakt

Vi uppdaterar denna policy när appens behandling av personuppgifter ändras. Datumet överst visar när policyn senast uppdaterades.

Privacy Policy for the Music Mystery App

1. Who is responsible for your personal data?

2. What data do we collect?

You do not need an account to use the app. The app does not collect your name or email address.

The app generates a device ID that is sent to us together with gameplay statistics. These statistics include attempts to solve tasks, use of hints, which songs you open through the app, and the times of gameplay events.

The device ID allows us to link gameplay events from the same device. Although we do not know your name, we treat this information as personal data for as long as it is linked to the device ID.

The game code is checked within the app and is not sent to us. We do not use your IP address for gameplay statistics or store it in our database.

3. Why do we process the data?

We use gameplay statistics to understand how our games are used, assess the difficulty of the puzzles, and improve the gameplay experience. Linking the data to the device ID allows us to follow gameplay events over time and calculate, for example, the number of unique devices used to play and the proportion that complete a game.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in evaluating and improving our games, under Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We do not use the data for advertising, tracking across different apps or websites, or automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. How long do we retain the data?

We retain each gameplay event linked to the device ID for a maximum of 24 months from the time the event was recorded. After that, we remove the link to the device and anonymise the statistics so that they can no longer be linked to you or your device.

Anonymisation also involves processing or aggregating any remaining data where necessary to prevent identification. If data cannot be sufficiently anonymised, it is deleted.

Anonymous statistics on, for example, attempts, hints, and songs opened may be retained for the long-term evaluation and development of the games.

5. Who can access the data?

Gameplay statistics are accessible to authorised people working on the administration and development of Music Mystery. The app contains no advertising and uses no third-party analytics services.

6. Spotify

When you open a song, you leave the Music Mystery app and continue to Spotify. Spotify’s processing of personal data within its service is governed by Spotify’s own privacy policy. We record which song is opened through our app; this does not mean that we record what you subsequently listen to on Spotify.

7. Your rights

You can contact us to request access to personal data concerning you, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, to the extent that these rights apply.

You also have the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. We will then stop processing the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests and rights, or the data is needed for legal claims.

As we do not have your name or an account profile, we may need information that allows us to locate the data linked to your device and verify that the request concerns you. We only request the information that is necessary. Data that has already been anonymised can no longer be linked to you.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.

8. Website and cookies

This policy applies to the Music Mystery app. Information about any cookies on the Music Mystery website can be found in the website’s separate cookie policy. The app contains no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party analytics services.

9. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the app’s processing of personal data changes. The date at the top indicates when the policy was last updated.
